The 2012 U.S. Compost Council Conference wrapped up in Austin, TX last week and Totally Green was happy to participate. The conference featured a trade show, workshops, tours and presentations, including the 2nd Annual Compostable Plastics Symposium. Totally Green’s tradeshow booth showcased both the ORCA Green™ food digester and Green Bottle Spring Water.
Totally Green’s Mark Hight, Director of Green Bottle Spring Water, attended the conference. “It proved a great opportunity to meet with many people from various fields who are very interested in our technology. It improved our relationship with the green movement – we saw familiar faces and met a lot of new ones.”
Hight said the turnout for the Compostable Plastics Symposium was particularly impressive. “We heard from leaders in the field and learned a tremendous amount about compostables and the technology behind them. They shared a lot of valuable information for developers and composters. It’s definitely a growing industry, and we’re proud to contribute.”
